Turtleneck top free sewing pattern
Our August free-book is for making a turtleneck top. INGE features a small turtleneck and beautiful puff sleeves that add a special touch to this simple, classic item.
You can make the jumper from lightweight knit fabric or fine viscose jersey. It’s definitely an elegant, feminine alternative to a long-sleeved top as well as being a clever must-have and the perfect basic for autumn.
INGE can be combined in various ways and can be worn with practically any outfit: with jeans or a pair of wide trousers, with a skirt or a faux fur gilet – one thing is certain; autumn won’t be complete without INGE!
FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS
The pattern is designed for stretchy fabrics. You can sew this turtleneck in any fabric with a spandex component. Jersey, knit, Romanite or jacquard jersey are the perfect choice for this top.
Are you a fabric dealer? You can find a large selection of stretchy fabrics in different qualities on our online shop.
We are often asked: Where can I buy your fabrics? Hemmers Itex is a fabric wholesaler from Nordhorn/Germany, so unfortunately you can’t buy our fabrics directly from us. Just ask your favourite fabric retailer for our fabrics and show us your sewing results on the social media channels with the hashtag #fabricsforyourcreativity.
